In case you were waiting in suspense, Electronic Arts has formally announced Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. You may now begin counting down in earnest.

The new edition of Tiger Woods will be hitting most every console save the Nintendo DS, and will also feature the U.S. Open, USGA Championship, and USGA’s Rules of Golf for the first time. Other new features include real-time weather that will match “those of the current weather conditions,” a “broadcast style presentation” from ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt and The Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman, and MotionPlus support for the Nintendo Wii.

Not a bad list of features if you happen to be a fan of virtual golf. Expect Tiger Wood PGA Tour 10 this fall.
